Front head lock
Dominant PositionsThe Front Head Lock is front-on control of the head and one arm, taken when a partner is turtled, shooting, or bent forward. The controlling partner is not pinning them to the floor but steering them by the neck, which is why it is a launching point rather than a resting place: guillotine, darce and anaconda all start here, and so does the back take when the partner tries to stand.
